PBL Students Compete at State Conference

The Wisconsin Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) Spring Leadership Conference was held April 20-21, 2007 in Whitewater, Wisconsin. Congratulations to the members of the Delta Mu chapter of UW-Eau Claire PBL who placed in the following competitions:

  • Business Communications: 1st - Grant Kafka, management student from Antigo, WI; 2nd - Julia Kramer, business administration major from Waukesha, WI

  • Economic Concepts: 3rd - Brett Bushman, junior information systems major from Greenwood, WI

  • Human Resources Management: 1st - Grant Kafka, management major from Antigo, WI

  • International Business: 2nd - Jens Knudsen, senior management major from Stillwater, MN

  • Management Analysis and Decision Making: 1st - Jens Knudsen, senior management major from Stillwater, MN

  • Sales Presentation: 2nd - Julie La Fave, junior marketing student from Loyal, WI

  • Word Processing: 3rd - Julia Kramer, business administration major from Waukesha, WI

PBL prepares students for careers in business and business-related fields. The organization is the post-secondary division of the national organization, Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda. The Delta Mu Chapter of PBL was chartered on the UW-Eau Claire campus in 1967.
