This course takes a contemporary look at leadership and the ethical challenges experienced by business leaders. We will look at leader's responsibility to shareholders, communities, employees and the environment. We will use critical reflection to try and determine why some leaders have struggled with ethics and social responsibility.

The nonprofit business provides some unique leadership skills. Fundraising, volunteer recruitment and volunteer supervision can present numerous challenges for leaders. In this course we will hear from local non-profit leaders and visit their worksites to gain deeper understanding of operation challenges.
