The COB student web developer will work as part of a team on the college's award winning website and electronic newsletters. The student will have opportunities to expand his/her knowledge by attending conferences and web seminars. Internship credit is available. Hourly wage is commensurate with experience.
Works as part of a team to develop new pages in html and create the college's three electronic newsletters.
Maintains, archives, and updates the College of Business website and Intranet
Tracks College of Business website statistics
Formats Word, Excel, and other documents
Must be organized and attentive to detail
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
Must be able to work effectively as part of a team
Must be proficient on a PC platform
Must be proficient with Macromedia Dreamweaver, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel
Must have basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
Must be familiar with current web technologies and trends
Summer 2007: 40 hours per week. Monday through Friday
2007-2008 academic year: 15-20 hours per week. Schedule can be built around class schedule.
