College of Business Student Web Developer Position Open

The COB student web developer will work on an award-winning website as part of an interactive team within the College of Business.  The student will have opportunities to expand his/her knowledge by attending conferences and web seminars. Internship credit is available.  Hourly wage is commensurate with experience.

Reports to

  • College of Business Assistant Dean-External Affairs Job Responsibilities


  • Maintains, archives, and updates the College of Business website and Intranet

  • Works with the College of Business assistant dean and graphic designer to implement web designs, develop new pages in html, and update graphics

  • Tracks College of Business website statistics

  • Formats Word, Excel, and other documents


  • Must be organized and attentive to detail

  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Must be able to work effectively as part of a team

  • Must be proficient on a PC platform

  • Must have good knowledge of HTML. Knowledge of JavaScript a plus.

  • Must be proficient with Macromedia Dreamweaver MX, Microsoft Word,
    and Microsoft Excel

  • Basic of knowledge of Adobe Photoshop

  • Must be familiar with current web technologies and trends


  • Summer 2006: 40 hours per week.  Monday through Friday

  • 2006 -2007 academic year: 15-20 hours per week.  Schedule can be built around class schedule.
