The COB student web developer will work on an award-winning website
as part of an interactive team within the College of Business. The
student will have opportunities to expand his/her knowledge by
attending conferences and web seminars. Internship credit is
available. Hourly wage is commensurate with experience.
College of Business Assistant Dean-External Affairs Job Responsibilities
Maintains, archives, and updates the College of Business website and Intranet
Works with the College of Business assistant dean and graphic designer to implement web designs, develop new pages in html, and update graphics
Tracks College of Business website statistics
Formats Word, Excel, and other documents
Must be organized and attentive to detail
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
Must be able to work effectively as part of a team
Must be proficient on a PC platform
Must be proficient with Macromedia Dreamweaver MX, Microsoft Word,
and Microsoft Excel
Basic of knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
Must be familiar with current web technologies and trends
Summer 2006: 40 hours per week. Monday through Friday
2006 -2007 academic year: 15-20 hours per week. Schedule can be built around class schedule.
