Jump Right In Contest Winners

To welcome new COB freshmen to the university and help them "jump right in" to university life, the COB sent students a series of five electronic newsletters during the months of July and August. These newsletters introduced students to some of the people they would meet on campus, explained how to connect with Career Services, invited them to participate in a blog maintained by a COB student doing an internship in Germany, explained how to join a student organization, and invited them to participate in a trivia quiz and technology survey.

The winners of the Jump Right In Trivia Contest were: 

Adam Bjornstad, a financial services major from Oseola , WI

Karissa Wysocki, an accounting major from Plainfield , WI

Adam and Karissa received a COB flash drive.

The winners of the COB  New Freshmen Technology Survey drawing were:

Jessica Hartkemeyer, a finance major from Lakeville, MN

Daniel Cole, a finance major from Appleton, WI

Lindsey Smith, an accounting major from Eau Claire, WI

Jessica, Daniel, and Lindsey won a UW-Eau Claire hooded sweatshirt.
