Two students who will attend the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire this fall have been awarded Sentry Insurance Student Leadership Scholarships for the 2004-05 academic year.
Daniel Schauer, Marshfield, a graduate of Marshfield High School and the son of Lynn and Joel Schauer, and Ashley Vacha, Plover, a graduate of Stevens Point Area High School and the daughter of Anthony and Karen Vacha, will receive the awards.
Sentry Insurance Student Leadership Scholarships are awarded to incoming freshmen at UW-Eau Claire who are majoring in business administration, computer sciences or management information systems (MIS), accounting, finance, mathematics (actuarial science), or engineering. Recipients are selected based on academic achievement, national test scores, and school and community leadership and service. The scholarships are renewable for up to three years.
