UW-Eau Claire Among Best Value Colleges by Kiplinger
UW-Eau Claire has been named among the top 100 best values in public colleges for 2009-'10 by Kiplinger's Personal Finance. UW-Eau Claire was ranked 67th nationally.
Only two other UW System schools maded the Top 100 list: UW-Madison, ranked 14th, and UW-La Crosse, ranked 43rd.
The University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill ended up on top of the rankings, followed by the University of Florida and the University of Virginia.
Rankings are based on a mixture of indicators of academic quality in addition to cost and financial aid. Academic quality is given more weight than cost.
