NON-CREDIT/CEU Students

The Essentials Business Administration Certificate and Essentials courses are available to any adult learner. They may be taken for non-credit or for continuing education units (CEU).

Registration
Adult learners taking an Essentials course for non-credit/CEU can register online through the UW-Eau Claire Continuing Education website, or download a printable registration form, which must be returned to UW-Eau Claire Continuing Education at 210 Water Street, Eau Claire, WI 54703, or faxed to 715.836.5263.

Cancellations/Refunds
Students who cancel out of a class ten days before the class begins, or within the first week of the class, will receive a full refund, less a $50 administrative fee. After that time, no refunds will be given.

Cost
$175 for Introduction to the World of Business course.
$350 for each of the other Essentials courses.

Individuals must make payment at time of registration for all programs and services.

• Third party payments can be made with a purchase order.
• Registrations will not be confirmed until payment has been satisfied.

Purchasing Your Textbooks
Essentials students taking their classes for non-credit/CEU must purchase their textbooks. This can be done through the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Bookstore or from online stores such as Amazon.com, half.ebay.com or ecampus.com. To order from the University Bookstore, fill out the online textbook request. Textbooks will be mailed according to shipping dates in timeline.

Students should order their textbooks two weeks prior to the beginning of classes to ensure they will have their books for class. Students living near Eau Claire may choose to purchase their textbooks in person at the University Bookstore and avoid shipping charges.
