Dennis L. Heyde Entrepreneur Program Admission Requirements

The Dennis L. Heyde Entrepreneur Program student must possess self-motivation, creativity, imagination, and drive in order to be a top performer. Admission to the Dennis L. Heyde Entrepreneur Program is selective - a maximum of 30 students are accepted into the program each year.

Admission to the Dennis L. Heyde Entrepreneur Program Requires:

  • Achievement of a 2.5 overall GPA **
  • Admission to the College of Business
    The College of Business has its own admission requirements. You may pick up a College of Business application in the College of Business Academic Affairs Office, Schneider 117.

  • Completion of 90 credits to include BCOM 206, 207; BSAD 300, 305; FIN 320; MKTG 330; MGMT 340, 341
  • Attendance at the Dennis L. Heyde Entrepreneur Program Recruitment Mandatory Meeting
    The recruitment meeting is held in September each year. Look for posters and other announcements of the meeting.

Student applications that meet the Admission Criteria are recommended by the Selection Committee to the Program Director. The Program Director and selection committee will make the final section based on an overall ranking and the number of program positions available. Students accepted into the program will be notified by mail by the Director.

** A student without the minimum grade point average, but with other exceptional qualifications, may be given consideration for admission to the program.
