Information Systems - IT Certificate

A recent survey of US corporate executives found that all new employees “are expected to have an expertise in information technology.” In fact, the survey found that a person with a background in information technology will usually be hired before a comparable individual without that background.

To meet this need, you can earn the IS Department’s Certificate in Information Systems. Requirements for the certificate are modest, but they assure you that you will achieve a level of competency that can be demonstrated to future employers.

The Certificate in Information Systems (IS) is designed to complement majors in every area of study. The certificate documents your completion of coursework relating to IS issues in organizations. This recognition is noted on your official university transcript.
