The foreign language/foreign culture requirement seeks to develop in students an understanding of the cultural, social, religious, intellectual, and philosophical aspects of foreign countries. This requirement can be met in one of four ways:
Students who are not native speakers of English may satisfy this requirement by completing the English competency requirement for the baccalaureate degree and demonstrating competency in their native language.
The cultural diversity requirement seeks to develop in students an understanding of the cultural, social, religious, intellectual, and philosophical aspects of American minority groups. Business students satisfy this requirement by completing Bsad 300, CJ 202, and a third course selected by the student.
