All students who are interested in becoming health care administration majors must also apply for admission to the program in addition to applying to the College of Business. Application to the HCAD program should be made during the semester in which you have met the requirements listed below:
Achievement of a 2.75 overall GPA
Admission to the College of Business (see above)
Attendance at the Health Care Administration Application Information Meeting
Information meetings are held every semester.
Submission of HCAD application packet
Packet includes an application, transcript, essay, "what-if" degree audit and degree plan.
The Health Care Administration program accepts applications for a limited period of time each semester. Prospective students should attend one of the informational meetings during the semester they wish to apply in order to be considered for admission. Check the College of Business website for more information on HCAD application information and informational meeting times.
