Employers assume you are knowledgeable about your area of study. However, it’s often “the little things” that separate good candidates from great ones – those individuals that employers bring in for an interview from those they actually hire.
The Student Professional Development Program gives you that extra edge. In our non-credit workshops, we discuss important subjects there isn’t time to cover in the classroom. Topics like how to write a resume that makes a great first impression, what to wear to a job interview or how to work a room at a reception. Workshops are fun, hands-on, and practical. They are lead by professionals who know and understand what employers look for in prospective employees.
The program is just one more way the College of Business helps prepare you for success.
