About Me: I am finally a senior this year majoring in Organizational Communications! I love the CJ Department which is why I have chosen to be a part of CJO throughout college. Recently I finished an internship with Wells Fargo focusing on Event Planning and learned a lot about what I want in a future career. I studied abroad in Spring 2008 and found a passion for traveling and moving to a place unfamiliar to me. I hope to pack up and move again somewhere new to me when I graduate in May!

JESSICA SWENSON

About Me: I am the Vice President of CJO and am excited about the upcoming year. I am a psychology major and my minor is in organizational communications. I am currently in my fourth year at UWEC and plan to graduate in the spring. I plan to attend graduate school the following fall in something org. comm. related, most likely in the field of human resoucres. I find the business world intriguing and all of the interactions that occur! I enjoy CJO because of the skills and insight I can learn and take with me when I graduate. Plus the extra events such as Relay for Life!

About Me: I'm a sophomore from Richfield, WI. I am part of a small family with only one older brother. I love sports, new things and anything that includes being active and exciting. I am currently undeclared but I am strongly leaning towards a major in public relations with a minor in economics. Currently I participate in Hall Council as well as CJO.

About Me: I am a sophomore and currently a public relations major with a marketing minor. I love music with a passion, and love planning events. I currently participate in RHA, Alpha Pi Omega, and of course CJO. One day I hope to be in public relations for a theatre or musical company.

JENNY TALEN

Major: Print Journalism
About Me: My name is Jenny Talen, and I am a sophomore here at Eau Claire. My major is Print Journalism, and my minor is Environmental Studies. I hope to one day write about environmental issues for a company like Green Peace, or write for a magazine dealing with the environment or general living. I am currently on the CJO executive board as the secretary, which I am looking forward to! I hope this year is full of new opportunities and continues to be a year of learning about the CJO field.

KATIE HOFFMAN

Major: Print Journalism
About Me: My major is Print Journalism, with a Marketing minor, and  I'm the Creative Consultant for CJO.
I'm a sophomore at UWEC this year, and am an RA in Towers South.  I love big cities, and hope to one day move to Chicago or New York after school, and work at a fashion or travel magazine.  I would love to be the Editor-in-Chief of a magazine one day, and hopefully influence people with my writing.  I'm so excited for this coming year in CJO, and look forward to everything we have planned, including tour, and meeting the CJ faculty.
