During the winter of his senior year of high school, Eric and his friends salted deer hides to preserve them until they were shipped to China. He would get very slimy, bloody and horribly-smelling hides. The job was located just an eighth-mile from his home. Depending on the day, it was both his best and worst job. Fun with friends + decent smelling hides = good. Toxic smelling hides = bad. | |
