Westridge is located north of Vine Street on West Clairemont Avenue. The landscape consists of a majority of residential areas with a couple of retail outlets including Hope Gospel Mission Bargain Center and Mega Pick 'n Save.
Shawtown is a secluded neighborhood nestled between Mount Washington and the Chippewa River. It was founded in the 1850s around Daniel Shaw's lumber mill and today consists of working class people, young and old.
The Buffington neighborhood is located between Half Moon Lake and North Clairemont Avenue on Eau Claire's west side. Rod & Gun Park is located in this neighborhood.
Mt. Washington
The Mt. Washington neighborhood was created in 1930 after the anexxation of historic Shawtown. Since then, the area has seen an increased number of businesses, homes, and families.
