Eau Claire works to combat binge drinking
Wisconsin, a state famous for its breweries and penchant for alcohol, is also the nation’s number one binge drinking state. The campus and city of Eau Claire are doing what they can to educate not only students but the community about the health risks of binge drinking.

Walking through Eau Claire’s Phoenix Park on a Saturday morning in the summer is like taking a step back in time. Every Saturday morning from May until the end of October, Phoenix Park is occupied by the Eau Claire Downtown Farmers Market, where local growers and consumers meet to enjoy the best fruits and vegetables the Chippewa Valley has to offer.
