Welcome to the very first issue of GreenHouse - a monthly e-zine that brings you the most relevant and up-to-date environmental information that affects your everyday life. You may hesitate at the challenge to join the “going green” movement but I assure you it is much easier than you may think. We strive to bring you the kind of in-depth features and how-to articles that will help you gradually transition into “greener” homes and lifestyles without the pressure that you have to change the entire planet.

Our interactive Web site is designed as a house blueprint with each room representing a different section of the e-zine. Simply click on the room of your choice and you will be immediately redirected to that section’s articles. This issue includes features on alternative fuels and modes of transportation, home gardening tips, non-toxic cleaning supplies, the organic food diet and more.

As editor of GreenHouse, I must say it has been a pleasure to work with such talented writers and designers. We worked tirelessly to come up with a universal concept that would reach and impact audiences outside of our tiny classroom at the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire. An environmentally-friendly home e-zine was born and each staff member has put in such tremendous effort to see GreenHouse realized. I want to take this opportunity to thank all of them for their dedication to this project.
