AdFed
AdFed, the American Advertising Federation, is for students interested in advertising and marketing.

Communication & Journalism Organization
CJO represents all interests within the Department of Communication and Journalism.

The Flip Side
The Flip Side is a biweekly student-run alternative press magazine.

Forensics
The UW-Eau Claire Forensics Team is a consistent winner at state, regional and national competitive speech meets.

International Association of Business Communicators
IABC, the International Association of Business Communicators, describes itself as "the premier international knowledge network for professionals engaged in strategic business communication management."

Kappa Tau Alpha
Kappa Tau Alpha is a national journalism scholastic honor society.

Pi Kappa Delta
Pi Kappa Delta is a national scholastic honor society for forensics.

Public Relations Student Society of America
PRSSA is affiliated with the professional Public Relations Society of America. UW-Eau Claire's chapter was established in 2004. For further information about the campus chapter, e-mail Associate Professor Ed Frederick.

Society of Professional Journalists
The Society of Professional Journalists is a national organization "dedicated to the perpetuation of a free press as the cornerstone of our nation and our liberty." For information on the campus chapter, e-mail Assistant Professor Jack Kapfer.

The Spectator
The award-winning newspaper of UW-Eau Claire, The Spectator is a student-run publication appearing on Mondays and Thursdays during the school year.

Student Radio Initiative
SRI is a college-oriented cable and Internet radio station run by UW-Eau Claire students.

TV10
TV10 is a student-run television station for the campus cable system.

WUEC-FM 89.7 Radio
Ever mindful of our university's regional responsibilities in education, public service, and cultural enrichment, WUEC-FM provides our campus and community listeners with programming devoted to news and current events, information and education, and classical/jazz music. In keeping with its mission, WUEC-FM presents excellent programming produced by faculty and students as well as programming from Wisconsin Public Radio. On June 19, 1989, WUEC became associated with Wisconsin Public Radio, a move designed to restore daytime classical music programming to listeners in West Central Wisconsin. WUEC is hiring for two positions for the Fall 2008 semester, Student Producer and Public Relations Manager. Student programming initiatives are encouraged.
