Operation Freefall: April 28, 2007, at Lake Wissota - Two of our members raised money for victims of sexual assault and domestic violence, as a part of Operation Freefall...and skydived.
Thanksgiving Meal at the Senior Center: Nov. 16, 2006, in Eau Claire - Members helped prepare, serve and clean-up a Thanksgiving meal at the Senior Center.
KFSD Cookie Baking and Gift of Love Prep.: Nov. 5, 2006, in Eau Claire - We got together to bake patriotic (or island/ocean) themed cookies to take to K-Family Service Day. We also folded table tents and made posters for our Gift of Love project. After all that, we celebrated by playing Boxers or Briefs and chowing down on spaghetti.
Senior Center Halloween Dance & Dinner: Oct. 28, 2006, in Eau Claire - We split into groups to help prepare dinner for the seniors and to help out at the dance by serving popcorn and beverages. We also helped clean up afterwards. Good times were had by all, especially the seniors!
K-Kids' Halloween Party with Seniors: Oct. 24, 2006, in Eau Claire - Many of our members had a blast as we helped the K-Kids with the Halloween party they threw for the seniors at London Square. We enjoyed card games, drawing monsters and candy, of course!
New Member Induction: Oct. 24, 2006, in Eau Claire - Our awesome new members were inducted and old members were recognized during the induction ceremony.
Big Falls Clean-Up: Oct. 22, 2006, in Eau Claire - Many members went to clean-up Big Falls Community Park/Beach, and they had a great time getting dirty in the wilderness for a good cause! Jude was the lucky member to clean out the infamous crack this year!
Hot Dog N' Bingo at Mount Washington's: Oct. 21, 2006, in Eau Claire - Each fall, we grill the residents of Mount Washington's Assisted Living Home their last hot dogs for the fall. We also lead BINGO for them then, too, and supply them with really sweet prizes! We love getting to socialize with the residents!
Halloween Decorating at Mount Washington's Residence Home: Oct. 17, 2006, in Eau Claire - Our members and advisor, John Lee, spooked up Mount Washington's Residence Home by decorating for Halloween. We even had help from a resident or two!
MAC: Oct. 13-15, 2006, at Camp Wawbeek in the Dells - Ashley S. and Amanda G. went to our district's Membership Awareness Conference in Wisconsin Dells. Activities included service projects, workshops, pieing of the district board, fundraising auction, dance, late-night trips to Dennys and more. Basically, it was a blast!
Flapjack Feed: Sept. 30, 2006, in Eau Claire - Many members of our club helped out at our sponsoring Kiwanis club's annual Flapjack Feed, their one huge fundraiser for the year.
24-Hour Service Project: Sept. 15-17, 2006, in Marquette, MI - Attended by UWEC Circle K'ers Yelena A., Amanda G. & Renee R. and Circle K'ers and Key Clubbers from throughout the district
