COURSES/COURSE EQUIVALENCIES
ISEP-Direct students typically take 4-5 classes/semester. All courses are taught in English. All ISEP participants are expected to enroll in a beginner level Setswana language course (5 hours/week) during their time in Botswana which may be taken for credit (3 hours) or for no credit. In addition, students can choose from courses across the University of Botswana provided they meet the necessary pre-requisites. The University of Botswana offers programs in the humanities, sciences, social studies, business, education, engineering, and health sciences. The most appropriate fields are African studies, environmental science, humanities, and social sciences. The science and engineering departments have well equipped laboratory facilities which are comparable to those found in the developed world. To learn more about the coursed offered at the University of Botswana, please visit the ISEP-Direct site: http://www.isep.org/students/directory/member_site.asp?CSID=254&ID=359# .
