To apply, you must be a currently-enrolled, degree-seeking undergraduate student. You must be in good academic standing, have a cumulative GPA of 2.3, and have at least sophomore standing by the time the trip departs. Students from all academic disciplines are welcome to apply, as well as non-UWEC students. Please note that in the case of a competitive selection process, priority will be given to UWEC students.
Attendance at the spring faculty-led study abroad orientation, plus 15 hours of meeting time in the Spring 2017 semester on the UW-Eau Claire campus is required for the pre-departure curriculum. Dr. Rose-Marie Avin will provide the 15 hours of pre-departure instruction.
Upon successful completion of the program, you will earn 3 credits in ECON 390. ECON 390 fulfills GE III credit, and it also fulfills 3 credits of the Foreign Culture requirement.
The tentative program dates are for three weeks from late May after graduation through mid June 2017.
