To apply, you must be a currently-enrolled, degree-seeking undergraduate student. You must be in good academic standing, have a cumulative GPA of 2.3, and have at least sophomore standing by the time the trip departs. Students from all academic disciplines are welcome to apply.
Attendance at the spring CIE study abroad orientation, plus 15 hours of meeting time in the Spring 2014 semester on the UW-Eau Claire campus is required for the pre-departure curriculum. Dr. Rose-Marie Avin will provide the 15 hours of pre-departure instruction.
Upon successful completion of the program, you will earn 3 credits in ECON 390. ECON 390 is for GE III credit, and it also fulfills 3 credits of the Foreign Culture requirement.
The program will run in early summer 2014. Tentative dates are May 22-June 5.
