HAAS SCHOLARSHIPS FOR RETURNED STUDY ABROAD STUDENTS
 
Five Leonard and Dorellen Haas scholarships, in the amount of $500 each, will be awarded in 2013-2014.  Haas Scholars agree to assist with publicity and set-up for the annual Study Abroad Fair, to be held on Wednesday, October 2,  2013, and to assist with at least two other study abroad-related events each semester. 

To apply for these fellowships, you must meet the following criteria:

•  Have studied on a UW-Eau Claire study abroad program for a minimum of 1 semester
•  Have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0
•  Be a continuing, full-time student at UW-Eau Claire, and be on campus*, during the entire 2013-2014 academic  year

Demonstrated leadership, dedication to community service, participation in the host community abroad beyond what was required by the program, and application or planned application of your study abroad experience back home will strengthen an application.

*This means that applicants cannot be participating in another study abroad program, an off-campus internship, etc., during the 13-14 academic year.  You can also not be graduating in December 2013.  It does not mean you need to live on campus.

The application deadline is June 3, 2013.
