STUDENT EXPERIENCE
"My experience in Cuba has not only helped shape me as a better undergraduate student here at UW Eau Claire, but it has also helped me become a better future educator. I had the opportunity to learn about another culture and practice my language skills, while also learning about the teaching profession in a completely different context. I am so happy that I was given the opportunity to participate in the trip of a lifetime and that will also help me in my career and future endeavors!" - Teresa
EXPLORE CUBA!
The high energy, romantic city of Havana, is filled with vintage American cars and colonial monuments. Through over 50 years of Socialism that has taken its toll on the social and economic fabric of the city, the unconquerable spirit of Haverneros is ever inspiring (lonely planet). Havana is a bustling city with plenty to discover. Cuba is also a good jumping point to explore other Caribbean countries!
