STUDENT LIFE

Aside from providing host families for every Kassel student, the University of Kassel also offers several cultural programs; past events have included a trip to Erfurt and a hiking excursion. Students can explore many of the parks and recreation areas throughout the city as well as practice their language skills at a sidewalk café or restaurant. Trips to nearby castles and the Grimm Brothers Museum are also excellent ways to fill free time and connect with your host country.

EXPLORE GERMANY!
The University of Kassel also offers optional field trips. In past summers, students have been able to visit Berlin and a nature reserve. In addition, Kassel is situated near the center of Germany, making travel to cities such as Berlin, Munich and Frankfurt quite easy.
