To apply, you must be a currently-enrolled, degree-seeking undergraduate or graduate student. A cumulative GPA of 2.3 and good academic standing are required. You may apply as a freshman but must have at least sophomore standing by the time the program begins. This program is also open to non-UWEC students. Please note that in the case of a competitive selection process, priority will be given to UWEC students.
COURSES/ COURSE EQUIVALENCIES
You will take the three-credit course HIST 401 Public History in England. This course fulfills GE IV-C and 3 credits of the Foreign Culture requirement, OR R2 and R3 in the Liberal Education Core. (Note that students pursuing a B.A., B.F.A., or B.M. degree in the College of Arts & Sciences MUST take the equivalent of two semesters of a foreign language to fulfill the FL/FC requirement. See the university catalogue for details). Graduate students will take HIST 601.
The program in 2017 is expected to run for four weeks from early June through early July.
