APPLICATION DEADLINES
Please note: potential applicants for Jinan must make an appointment with Cheryl Lochner-Wright, the program coordinator, before submitting an application.
Applications for Fall 2009/Academic Year 2009-2010 are accepted beginning September 2, 2008. The priority application deadline for Fall 2009/Academic Year 2009-2010 was November 17, 2008. No late applications will be accepted.
Applications for Spring 2010 are accepted beginning January 15, 2009. The priority application deadline for Spring 2010 is April 1, 2009. Complete applications will be reviewed after this date. Late applications may be considered. Please contact the CIE to find out if the application deadline has been extended before submitting a late application. No applications will be accepted after May 1, 2009 for Spring 2010.

ESTIMATED COSTS
The estimated Wisconsin resident fee for one semester in 2009-2010 is $3,960. This includes full-time UW-Eau Claire tuition, CISI insurance, and administrative fees. Minnesota residents may apply for reciprocity; non-residents add non-resident fees.
Additional costs: room, meals, passport, international or local transportation, books, or personal expenses. Estimate another $4,600-$5,150 for these costs, depending on housing.
Total Wisconsin resident cost estimate for one semester: $8,560-$9,110. Cost estimates are based on current exchange rates and may change at any time.
FINANCIAL AID/SCHOLARSHIPS
If you qualify for financial aid, you can apply your aid to program costs. Your aid package will be based on actual costs in China, including round-trip airfare. Two national scholarships, the Freeman Asia and the NSEP, support study in China.
