UW-Eau Claire is part of the ISEP-Direct network that gives our students access to many universities worldwide. The best way to think of an ISEP-Direct experience is to imagine that you are going to study in the Czech Republic just as international students come to study at UW-Eau Claire. If you are independent, flexible, and adventurous, ISEP-Direct programs are a good choice for you.
STUDY IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC!
Explore the Czech Republic, located at the crossroads of eastern and western Europe! Your program fee includes both the academic program and day-trips or weekend excursions to a number of cities in the region. In recent years these have included Vienna, Budapest, Bratislava, Prague and Krakow.
THE LOCATION
Brno, (pronounced beer-no), the capital of the Czech province of Moravia, is the second largest city in the Czech Republic (pop. 400,000). The city's historical center, complete with cobblestone pedestrian zones, has fascinating architecture spanning the whole period from the Middle Ages to the present day. Home to six universities and 40,000 students, Brno offers many cultural activities and an active student life.

With nine colleges and more than 200 departments, institutes and clinics, Masaryk is one of the most important teaching and research institutions in the country. The university also plays a major role in the social and cultural life of the South Moravia Region.
