STUDENT COMMENTS
Studying and living in Costa Rica has allowed me to see the world through another set of eyes. It has enriched my passion for Spanish and created a desire for traveling. My experience has positively changed my life through my interactions with Costa Ricans, especially my host family. Their openness for cultural exchange and passion for their country is contagious. I will only spend three and a half months here; however, these memories will impact me during all stages of life. -Sarah

Studying abroad in Costa Rica was the greatest roller coaster I have ever ridden. There are twists and turns; it will flip you upside down, and then it ends leaving you with the best experience you've ever had. -Tony

I learned more then I could have imagined about Costa Rican culture, history, and environment. I enjoyed our excursions because they were interesting and education. I also loved living with a host family. It helped me adjust more easily, and it helped me learn more about the culture and the differences between our two cultures. -Jessica

My experience in Costa Rica was the most enriching of my life. There are so many things I learned in my time in there, not only about culture and life, but about myself and who I am as a person. If your searching for something more in your life, maybe you´ll find it here. I know I did. -Wesley

Costa Rica is the perfect program because it is what you make it. The staff, the families, and the country are all eager to help you experience every last bit of their culture; from the language, to the music, to that strange meal wrapped in a banana leaf. If you're serious about learning Spanish or living in a differnt culture, come to Costa Rica and push yourself. The program is small and secure and the people truly care for you, which all serves to provide a safe base from which to explore independently. What's more, the more connection you make with the people and the culture, the more motivation you will have to learn the language. Anyone who says that study abroad will only put you behind has never studied abroad. Because if they had, they would realize that only through studying abroad can you enhance your education and your personal self in so many ways in so little time. -Teresa
