Ticket Information

The Viennese Ball at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire is a formal event recalling the romance and elegance of 19th century Vienna. The event is presented in duplicate each evening and is a much-anticipated fundraiser for music, service and international study scholarships for UW-Eau Claire students.

The Viennese Ball is for adults only. Patrons must be age 17 and over; proof of age will be checked at the door.

Tickets are $42.50 for the public or $27.50 for UW System students, Chippewa Valley Technical College students and high school students. The traditional midnight breakfast is $10 in advance or $11 at the ball.

Those who wish to purchase alcohol must present two forms of identification upon entrance to the ball. Patrons will be offered a hand-stamp should they wish to leave the building for the purpose of smoking.

Patrons are requested to honor the following dress code: evening gown or dressy evening separates for ladies; tuxedo or dress suit for gentlemen. Jeans and casual wear are inappropriate for the Viennese Ball.

    (not yet available)

Ticket order forms must be returned via U.S. Mail. Orders should be returned as quickly as possible because the ball often sells out immediately. A maximum of six tickets may be requested per order under the same name. Checks or money orders should be made payable to UW-Eau Claire and sent to the Service Center at the address on the order form.

Orders are dated and filled in the order of receipt. If ticket requests exceed availability, orders will be returned.

No campus mail, walk-up or phone sales will be accepted until Monday, March 2, 2015.
On that date the Service Center will also begin to offer online sales.

INFORMATION FOR STUDENT PATRONS

UW System, Chippewa Valley Technical College and high school students holding student-price tickets must present a valid University of Wisconsin System, Chippewa Valley Technical College or high school student ID card upon entering the event. University policy allows a student ID holder to bring one guest at the student price. Those holding student price tickets who cannot present valid identification will be directed to the Service Center to upgrade their tickets to the public price.

SALE BOARD FOR PERSONAL SALE OR PURCHASE OF TICKETS

Since tickets may not be refunded or exchanged by the Service Center, an online sale board has been established for your convenience. The Service Center also has a bulletin board in the Maple Lounge, Davies Center 103, where notices for sale or purchase can be posted.
