Chippewa Valley Youth Symphony

The Chippewa Valley Youth Symphony offers a creative outlet and symphony experience for area students in grades 6-12.

CVYS accepts students on an as-needed basis and determines seating through informal auditions.

Mr. Eugene Power conducts and manages CVYS. UW-Eau Claire undergraduate musicians work with the youth symphony in both small and large group rehearsals.

The CVYS performs two free concerts annually in December and May. Varied and challenging music scores are provided on loan to the students each year.
