The University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire College of Nursing and Health Sciences and the Delta Phi Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International are pleased to announce the Twenty-Fourth Annual UWEC/STT Research Day on April 24, 2009. The purpose of the conference, Linking Practice and Research: A Kaleidoscope of Nursing Scholarship, is to promote evidence-based practice through dissemination of findings from scholarly inquiry.The day-long conference will include a keynote address, concurrent paper presentations and poster sessions.
You are invited to submit abstracts of completed projects in any area of nursing or health care for consideration as paper presentations. We welcome diversity in submissions including presentations on practice innovations, quality improvement projects, and the scholarship of teaching and learning. Ongoing projects may be presented in poster format. Concurrent paper presentations will be thirty minutes in length followed by a ten minute discussion period. All abstracts must be received by January 28, 2009, for review by the Delta Phi Research Committee. Notification of acceptance will be sent to authors by February 20th. The registration fee and other expenses related to presentations will be assumed by presenters.
