Summer English as a Second Language (ESL) Program

UW-Eau Claire has formal agreements with each of the above-defined institutions to provide their students English language training through our Summer English as a Second Language (ESL) Program. This program represents a 4-week intensive ESL training program where students and professionals from all over the world are invited to attend to improve their English skills for further educational pursuits or advancement in their profession.

Regional English as a Second Language (ESL) Training/Workshops

UW-Eau Claire Continuing Education has provided onsite ESL training for international employees working within SGI's engineering area. Program facilitators provided French speaking engineers with Business English training and coordinated a number of cultural excursions as part of this 7-week program.

Regional Foreign Language Training/Workshops

Partner(s): Extrusion Dies, Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin

Through an eight-week onsite course, employees of Extrusion Dies were provided Spanish language training.
