WEN's mission is to spur new venture creation and existing business growth in Wisconsin through seamless and integrated access to entrepreneurial resources, programs and services.

WEN Regional Centers support technology-based start-ups and existing companies by providing confidential guidance and advice regarding:

• University scientific and technical expertise, facilities and equipment
• Technology transfer opportunities from the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation, WiSys, and federal laboratories
• Federal research and development opportunities (federal Small Business Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer Programs)
• Capital investments (debt and equity)
• Referral to angel and early stage investors
• Patents and intellectual property
• Technology and market assessments
• Technology commercialization strategies
