Composed of both general education and specialized study, the UW-Eau Claire baccalaureate degree provides students with the knowledge and abilities needed for lifelong learning. General education emphasizes basic competencies, breadth of knowledge, and critical judgment which characterize a mature and responsible person in the modern world. Specialized study is available through eighteen departments and several interdisciplinary programs in the areas of humanities, arts, natural sciences and social sciences in a wide variety of major and minor programs. Requirements are based on the all - University graduation requirements, but do vary with the degree sought and program of study.
