The University of Wisconsin system is hosting WERF - the Wisconsin Educational Recruitment Fair on Thursday, April 25. This is an excellent event to connect with school districts from across the US in one location.

As a UWEC student, the $20 sign up fee is reduced to only $5. To register you must have a WECAN account or sign up for one for free. You then can register for WERF. Follow these step by step instructions:

****Instructions: Set up WECAN CandidateAccount****

1.  Go to http://services.education.wisc.edu/wecan
2.  In the New Certified Staff: box, clickon "Click Here" to Create a WECAN Certified Staff Account
3.  To set up a WECAN Account, click on New Users:
4.  Fill in the appropriate blanks and click on the Submit button
5.  In the "Your Information and Application Materials" section, COMPLETE the following sections:
 ----  WI COLLEGE UNIVERITY INFO (be sure to select your Wisconsin college for reduced admission fee!)
----  YOUR PROFILE Completing the other application sections are optional for WERF registration (available March 1st)

1.  Go to http://services.education.wisc.edu/wecan
2.  Click on CERTIFIED STAFF
3.  From the Main Menu's Job Search & Applying, III. Job Fairs section, click on REGISTER FOR WERF
4.  Click on Begin Verification button (Verification is required to receive discounted $5.00 registration fee)

Online registration will end at Noon on April 24, 2013. Day of the fair registration and entrance fee will be $20.00.
