Through collaborative efforts with faculty, UW-Eau Claire Career Services can ensure that students explore and gain exposure to as many career opportunities as possible. Career Services can then help students find internships and present themselves effectively as candidates for positions that interest them when they leave UW-Eau Claire.

We invite and encourage all faculty & staff to:

• Refer students to Career Services for career-related assistance and invite Career Services staff to classes.
• Encourage students to register for the Academic and Career Exploration course.
• View Relating a Major to Careers: A Guide for Faculty
• Use the Career Timetable to guide adviser/advisee discussions.
• Call upon your Career Services Liaison for help with programs, events, career-related questions, and more.
• Tour the Career Discovery Center, utilize the resources available in our on-line Resource Library, and meet the staff.
• Promote to students, alumni, and employers the services provided by our office such as the Ask An Alum and Friends Program and upcoming career events.
• Learn about writing letters of reference.
• Meet with employers participating in campus interviews, career fairs, or other career events.
