What funds are available?
Bill Boyken/Charter Bank Fund:
Named in honor of Bill Boyken, former Charter Bank President and longtime supporter of UW-Eau Claire, this fund was established to encourage Chippewa Valley area employers to incorporate interns into their staffing by offering them financial assistance. This fund increases awareness of local employment opportunities for College of Business students.
Momentum Chippewa Valley Fund:
This internship fund was created by the Momentum Chippewa Valley organization to encourage Chippewa Valley area employers to incorporate interns into their staffing by offering them financial assistance. This fund increases awareness of local employment opportunities which support a technology initiative.
Jim Pinter/SBC-Ameritech Fund:
Named for Jim Pinter, community leader and longtime supporter of UW-Eau Claire, this fund was created to encourage Chippewa Valley area employers to incorporate interns into their staffing by offering financial assistance.
What are the goals of these funds?
Any employer located in the Chippewa Valley who seeks to create a new internship position available to UW-Eau Claire students.
How do I apply?Complete the Employer Application form. Applications will be reviewed by the Internship Review Committee and award recipients will be notified.
What is my role?If selected for financial assistance it is expected that the employer demonstrate a commitment to the valuable learning experience that internships bring to students, companies and UW-Eau Claire. This commitment includes but is not limited to:
