Information for Employers

The annual Career Conference is being held September 25, 2008. This Career Conference provides an opportunity for all University students to gain more information about your organization.

Students and alumni use this opportunity to discuss career plans, exchange resumes, and make preliminary contacts with your organization. These contacts can be followed up with more formal interviews either on or off campus. Underclassmen may profit by talking to your representatives about what you have to offer as an employer, which may help clarify their career goals. They may also inquire about possible internships your organization might offer.

A pre-conference reception will be held from 6:30 - 11:00 pm on September 24 at the Plaza Hotel. The reception is an additional opportunity for company representatives and students of all majors to meet in a social and more casual atmosphere.

Register today for the next Career Conference. Priority deadline is August 22 (no refunds given after August 29). The event runs from 10 AM - 3 PM. Set up begins at 8:00 AM.

The $175 Registration fee includes:

• Pre-Conference Reception, Wednesday evening at thePlaza Hotel. Sponsored by the Student Accounting Society.
• Complimentary continental breakfast and lunch for up to three company representatives
  Company booth (5'x2'6” table)
• Please be sure all equipment is battery operated; there are no electrical outlets available
