Note that the "LIVING Course Outline" has now been color coded for exam distribution. Also see that a few problems have been assigned in Chapter 3 and Section 4.1 in Harris. You may also find solutions to the first exam posted to the website ("Solutions") and also the acid/base quiz extension (from long ago...)

 

Exam I Results

The median score was 64/80 points total (the high score was 81/80(!) points). So the average grade was just about at the B-/C+ breakpoint. The distributions follow. PLEASE stop by my office to talk with me if you have concerns or questions about your exam. There is still time to make substantial improvements to your grade and I'd like to help you get there...

Lab Notebook Maintenance

If you would like to see the examples of good notebook- keeping, as presented in lab, I've included a link to a pdf file at the bottom of the "Handouts" section of the website. I'd also be happy to take a look at your work to give you feedback. And I may do that even if you don't ask me!
