A = 90%+; B = 80-89%; C = 70-79%; D = 60-69%; F = 59% and below.  A plus/minus system will be used within these broad categories.

Class Attendance and Participation

Much of your grade in this course will be based on assignments.  Don’t hand them in late!  An excused late assignment will result in a substantial reduction in your grade.  An unexcused late assignment  will result in failure.  An excused late paper is one for which you receive written permission (see me) on or before the due date.
