Pentagon: Course basics

PURPOSE

To introduce the major traditions and paradigms of geography with an emphasis on their conceptual frameworks and contemporary applications. 

 

A list of concepts you should know is available on the Web (See schedule).  Go over these concepts before they are scheduled for class discussion.  Key concepts are also covered on each exam.

Syllabus:  This Web site is the official syllabus for GEOG326, Geography Seminar.  No paper materials will be handed out in this class.  You may print out materials at your own expense.

Assignment Media:  All assignments in this course will be submitted in an electronic format (Word/PowerPoint document or presentation).  Paper materials will not be accepted.  Place them in the correct folder on the server (see individual project instructions).
