Please write an autobiography for me, typed and at least three pages long (double spaced).  I would like you to create an introduction to yourself, something that will help me get to know your.  You might organize the text as follows:

I.                   Personal Background

a.       Topics:  Birthday, special interests, pets, favorite writers.  (What qualities of these writers’ works do you find particularly appealing?)

b.      Questions:  How would you describe your experience here at UW-EC?  What have you learned about yourself as you’re completing your course work?  What have you learned about human nature in the past year or so?

II.                 Professional Background and aspirations

a.       Your major field of study, special professional interests.  Where do you want to see yourself five years from now?  Ten years from now?

III.              How familiar are you with Indian people or Indian culture?  Have you read much Indian literature?  What are your expectations of this course?  Apprehensions?  If your experience or knowledge has been limited, that’s alright.  Please tell me what I can do to provide sufficient historical and cultural information to help you build a knowledge base in this area.
