Field: Paula Crossfield, Senior, Madison, WI/East Crossfield earned nine points, the second most by any individual on the team, as the Blugolds finished fourth with 110 points at the WIAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships hosted by UW-River Falls. Crossfield finished second in the discus with an NCAA provisional throw of 143-9 which is currently tied for 11th nationally. Crossfield also placed 8th in the hammer throw with a toss of 146-5.
April 16, 2007 - April 22, 2007
Field: Paula Crossfield, Senior, Madison, WI/East Crossfield improved on her NCAA provisional qualifying distance in the hammer throw as she competed at the Manitou Classic hosted by St. Olaf College (MN). Crossfield placed fifth in the hammer throw with a toss of 152-7 which currently ranks her 18th nationally. Crossfield also finished third in the discus with a throw of 126-8 and 11th in the shot put covering a distance of 35-8.75.
Track: Liz Faller, Senior, Marinette, WI Faller won both hurdle events with NCAA provisional qualifying times at the Manitou Classic hosted by St. Olaf College (MN). Faller won the 100 hurdles with a time 14.47 seconds which is the third fastest time in all of NCAA Division III. Faller also went on to win the 400 hurdles in 1:03.44, currently the 10th fastest time in this event.
April 9, 2007 - April 15, 2007
Field: Jessica Owens, Sophomore, Elm Grove, WI/Brookfield East Owens won the high jump and provisionally qualified for the NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships at the Blugold Open. Owens cleared 5-5 to win the high jump by two inches and by doing so reached the NCAA provisional mark.
Track: Liz Kooistra, Sophomore, Lakeville, MN Kooistra set one school record, one two events and eclipsed two NCAA provisional marks at the Blugold Open. Kooistra won the 400-meter dash in a time of 56.64 seconds to break her own school record of 56.71 seconds set on April 22, 2006 at UW-La Crosse. Kooistra also won the 200-meter dash in a time of 26.07 and was a part of the first place 4 x 400-meter relay team completing the race in an NCAA provisional qualifying time of 3:55.21.

Field: Jessica Owens, Sophomore, Elm Grove, WI/Brookfield East Also selected as WIAC Athlete of the Week Owens placed second in the high jump improving her own NCAA provisional qualifying distance as the Blugolds won the 10-team UW-Oshkosh Open. Owens took second with a jump of 5-5.25 feet. It is the eighth-best jump in Division III this season and the best in the WIAC this year.
Track: Liz Kooistra, Sophomore, Lakeville, MN Kooistra won the 200 and 400-meter dashes setting school records in each event as the Blugolds won the 10-team UW-Oshkosh Open. Kooistra won the 200 in a time of 25.85 breaking the former school record of 26.05 set by Peg Peelman on March 1, 1997. Kooistra won the 400 in a time of 57.27 breaking her own school record of 57.28 set last year on March 3. Kooistra’s time in the 400 is the fifth-fastest time in Division III and the best in the WIAC this season.

Field: Jessica Owens, Sophomore, Elm Grove, WI/Brookfield East Owens cleared an NCAA provisional height in the high jump as the Blugolds took first place at the four-team Border Battle hosted by St. Olaf College (MN). Owens won the high jump clearing a height of 5-4.5 feet to win the event by 1.5 inches.
Track: Shalene Huth, Senior, Appleton, WI/West Huth won the 55-meter dash and was on two winning relay teams as the Blugolds won first place at the four-team Border Battle hosted by St. Olaf College (MN). Huth qualified for the 55-meter finals with a time of 7.42 seconds and won the final clocking in at 7.43 seconds. Huth was also a member of the winning 4 x 200 and 4 x 400-meter relay teams which won in times of 1:46.74 and 4:00.60, respectively.

Field: Paula Crossfield, Senior, Madison, WI/East Also selected as WIAC Athlete of the Week Crossfield finished second in the weight throw and set a school record in the process as the Blugolds competed at the Warren Bowlus Open hosted by UW-Stout. Crossfield reached an NCAA Division III provisional qualifying toss of 50-6.75 inches to break the school record formally held by Chris Konyn of 50-0 set on March 7, 1997.
Track: Liz Faller, Senior, Marinette, WI Faller won the 55-meter hurdles and improved on her own NCAA provisional qualifying time at the Warren Bowlus Open hosted by UW-Stout. Faller won the event in a time of 8.31 seconds which currently ranks 2nd nationally in NCAA Division III. Her time was just .03 seconds off the school record set by All-American Jen Stafslien set on March 6, 2004.
January 22, 2007 - January 28, 2007
Field: Steph Barnes, Senior, Sauk City, WI/Sauk Prairie Barnes became the second pole vaulter to automatically qualify for the NCAA indoor track and field championships in as many weeks as the Blugolds won the 13-team UW-Whitewater Invitational hosted by UW-Whitewater. Barnes won the pole vault clearing 12-5.5. Barnes currently ranks second in the nation after her performance this past weekend.
Track: Liz Faller, Senior, Marinette, WI Faller won the 55-meter hurdles, 200-meter dash and was a member of the winning 4 x 400-meter relay team as the Blugolds won the 13-team UW-Whitewater Invite hosted by UW-Whitewater. Liz won the 55-meter hurdles in an NCAA provisional qualifying time of 8.31 seconds defeating her next closest competitor by 0.88 seconds. Faller won the 200-meter dash in a time of 26.74 seconds and ran in the winning 4 x 400-meter relay team which won the event in a time of 58.98 seconds. Faller’s performance in the 55-meter hurdles at Whitewater currently ranks her second nationally in the event.

Field: Chelsea Becker, Senior, Rice Lake, WI Also selected as WIAC Athlete of the Week Becker earned an automatic qualifying mark in the pole vault for the NCAA indoor national championships as the Blugolds finished second in the eight-team Blugold Open. Becker won the event clearing 12-2. Becker is currently ranked first as she is the only pole vaulter in NCAA Division III to obtain an automatic qualifying height.
Track: Liz Faller, Senior, Marinette, WI Faller won the 55-meter hurdles and helped the Blugolds finish second out of eight teams at the Blugold Open. Faller won the 55-meter hurdles finishing with an NCAA provisional time of 8.43 seconds. Her time currently ranks fourth in the nation. Faller was also a member of the first-place 4 x 200 and 4 x 400-meter relay teams.
