NORTHFIELD, MN - Stephanie Barnes (Jr.-Sauk City/Sauk Prairie) earned an indoor national championship today in pole vault to go with her outdoor one of last year while Erin Kokta (Sr.-Brookfield/East) landed eighth in the triple jump at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field National Championships.

BARNES TOP-RANKED VAULTER IN THE NATION

Junior Steph Barnes (Sauk City/Sauk Prairie) continues to lead NCAA Division III pole vaulters with a best effort of 12 feet, 9 inches. The defending national outdoor pole vault champ (at 12-2.5) has steadily pushed the school indoor record to its current level.

MENOMONIE - The UW-Eau Claire women's track team notched its fifth victory in a row and remained unbeaten as it cruised through the Blue Devil Open with 249.33 points.

NORTHFIELD, MN - For the fourth consecutive meet, the UW-Eau Claire women's track team took first as it cruised past the competitors with a 184.0 score in St. Olaf's Border Battle.

WOMEN'S TRACK CONTINUES DOMINANCE IN THIRD STRAIGHT WIN

MENOMONIE - To complete the Eau Claire sweep of the Warren Bowlus Open and finish first for the third consecutive meet, the UW-Eau Claire women's track team dominated the six other schools by winning with a 118 point margin as the team totaled 279.50 points in all. The team did not finish first in only four events.

WHITEWATER - The UW-Eau Claire women's track team got off to a magnificent start last weekend when it took first out of five teams at the home Blugold Open. Today it maintained pace by taking first out of 14 teams at the UW-Whitewater Invite.
