CONNECTICUT COLLEGE TOPS WOMEN’S TENNIS
ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, FLORIDA – Connecticut College notched a 7-2 triumph over the UW-Eau Claire women’s tennis team on the Blugolds’ final spring break competition here Friday. Although the Blugolds dropped their final three matches during their five-match tour, freshman Brenna McCormick (Greendale) won the fourth time, beating Danielle Coleman by scores of 7-5, 7-5 at No. 5 singles. The win improved McCormick’s season record to 17-5. Also winning for the Blugolds, who are now 13-4 for the season, was freshman Gina Dahl (Fort Aktinson) at No. 2 singles with a 7-5, 2-6, 10-5 decision over Elyssa Emsellem.
