WRESTLERS TO HOST ST. OLAF

EAU CLAIRE - The UW-Eau Claire wrestling team will be hosting the Oles of St. Olaf Saturday at the McPhee Phy. Ed. Center.

The Blugolds defeated the Oles 33-21 last year at St. Olaf but lost a majority of last year's winning wrestlers.

Four of the seven Blugold winning wrestlers from last year's meet have moved on leaving Troy Seubert (Sr.-Maple Grove, MN), Larry Moen (Jr.-Madison/East) and Derek Sikora (So.-Neillsville) as the only returning winners from last year's meet.

The Blugolds are coming off a strong performance at the St. Olaf Open last weekend. Moen and Nick Campbell (Sr.-Maple Grove, MN) placed first at 197 pounds and the heavyweight divisions, respectively. Eau Claire also had four wrestlers finish third overall.

The dual meet is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
