KORINEK NAMED NCHA PLAYER OF THE WEEK

MADISON - UW-Eau Claire women's hockey forward Martina Korinek (Jr.-White Bear Lake, MN) has been named the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) Player of the Week, it was announced by conference sports information director Layne Pitt.

Korinek helped the Blugolds earn their first NCHA point of the season in a 2-2 tie the day after falling to Lake Forest (IL) 3-2 in overtime. In Saturday's game Korinek scored the game-tying goal at 7:38 in the third period to send the game into overtime.
