| Women's Golf Assistant Coach - Cam Schuknecht
Cam Schuknecht enters his first season as the assistant men's basketball coach. Schuknecht will also serve as the assistant men's and women's golf coach and an associate lecturer in the Department of Kinesiology and Athletics.
Prior to Eau Claire Schuknecht was an assistant coach at Wartburg for the 2002-03 season where the Knights posted a 21-7 record. The Knights finished second in the Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (IIAC) and was the IIAC tournament runner-up.
Schuknecht played at Wartburg from 1993-98 where during his last season he played for current head coach Dick Peth who has posted three-consecutive 20-win seasons for the Knights. Peth is a Tomah, Wisconsin native who played at the University of Iowa under head coach Lute Olson. Schuknecht was a two-year co-captain and was a senior in Peth's first season as the head coach at Wartburg.
After graduation Schuknecht was an assistant coach at Saint Mary College of Leavenworth, Kansas from 1999-2001. In 2001 Schuknecht was named the head coach at Saint Mary guiding the Spires to a third place finish in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) and saw his team receive votes in the NAIA national poll for eight straight weeks.
Schuknecht received his bachelor's degree in physical education from Wartburg in 1998 and his master's degree in exercise science from the University of Kansas in Lawrence in 2001.
