Coming from the East on Hwy 29 or from the North on Hwy 53.

From the East on Hwy 29, get on Hwy 53 south near Chippewa Falls. Go south on Hwy 53 to the US 12/Clairemont Avenue exit (Exit 87) in Eau Claire. Go right (west) on Bus 12 for several miles. You will pass Memorial High School and further down the road the university's upper campus, also Shopko (on left) and Sacred Heart Hospital (on right). Go past them all and continue on Bus 12 until the highway curves right and crosses the Chippewa River. Just after crossing the river, merge right on Menomonie Street. Go about 500 feet, there will be a sign for Carson Park and a drive just in front of the Dairy Queen. Follow the road through the park, staying to the right until you are level with the baseball stadium. On the first base side, there will be a road that branches to the left. Take that past the tennis courts and the Hobbs Field. You drive past the Gelein Field parking lot, which is beyond the outfield, and the entrance is between Gelein and the Paul Bunyan display.

 

Coming from the South on Interstate 94

Get off at the Hwy 37 and 85 exit (Exit 65). Go right on Hwy 37 to the second stoplight (Craig Road). Turn left on Craig Road and go to the next stoplight at Bus 12/Clairemont Ave. Turn left on Clairemont Avenue. Continue on Bus 12 until the highway curves right and crosses the Chippewa River. Just after crossing the river, merge right on Menomonie Street. Go about 500 feet, there will be a sign for Carson Park and a drive just in front of the Dairy Queen.
